Kenya holds elections under the new constitutional dispensation sometimes in 4th of March 2013 and as a formality I just applied for the post of a Biometric Voter Registration Clerk which's due to take place in a months time subject to the intergovernmental procurement {btw Canada and Kenya} of the biometric voter registration kits. A formality cause it ain't the first time I've tried my chances with the public service and I already know chances of being recruited are next to nil even though the minimum requirement is a O-level high school certificate.The same case over of spirited, concerted employment discrimination/stigmatization. The friends of the prime minister are already hot on my heels just looking for an excuse to cris-cross fire with me;they come under the caucus of FORA,the p.m.'s presidential bid lobby club. I don't meddle with them for their political discourse is largely immature and their democratic credentials are suffering bouts of teething problems.It would be like opening a Pandora box. You see their man the p.m. is crazy about sate house and his lay blind extremist adherents are simply unreasonable. The p.m.'s bid for the top seat is informed by a background defined by coup attempts which went asunder cause of his dictatorial tendencies to call all the shots by himself, yet he still pretends to be a liberal, progressive democrat.Indeed he has the " King Kong syndrome" whereby one either toes his line or you are just pushed off the edge to the periphery or political oblivion especially for those tail-coat hungers preying on his mad rush to state house; and need albeit, a blanket electorate vote. Interestingly, the dark ice Jurassic-mammoth age "King Kong" tactics/strategies which includes consulting of Sherman-witch doctors and oracles is quiet popular for his animistic ways and so far as I've noticed he's busy tracking me using his FORA launch pad {civilian and capped}, I'm avoiding his crazy mob like the plague.Animistic and voodoo Witchcraft here is as rampant as Victorian England.He's got to win by hook or crook. Of late I've been amused that his secretariat is enjoined in a mischief with his stronghold constituents to involve me in an arranged traditional marriage. I ain't allowed to vouch,choose/access my own civilized conjugal relationship, permanent or otherwise for after all I'm safely incapacitated financially without a decent mode of earning a livelihood;now they are sponsoring to "marry me " a wife. Hi readers, it usually takes time to find the truth, which at the end of the day turns-out to be stranger than fiction anyway!I just' don't know when this subversive state terror is going to end cause so far it seems like it will end with my end when they do away with me,i.e. certify me "clinically dead". The process to apply for a post graduate course entailed lots of bureaucratic protocol including having to visit designated college deans, school principals, heads of departments as well as directors of institutes to clear with their respective secretariats in terms of authentications of eligibility as well as the prerequisite terms and conditions. As is the case with bureaucracy, those in the know are aware such a process doesn't take a single day; not only because the application forms usually have to be filled in triplicates or quadruplets as the case may demand but more so cause the scrutiny/analysis of the forms for validating if the information provided meets the threshold/criterion is a slow and demanding tall-order process. Some officials happen to be unavailable either for official or private purposes and by the time one manages to present their filled-in rubber-stamped applications,usually 2 or more weeks have passed. Thus was the shock and horror to be told by stern secretaries that my application file record couldn't be found anywhere on their cabinet shelves or in their offices for that matter. Worse was to come when I begun to inquire after my unit transcripts.Can anyone imagine that I was taken in circles/circus ride till I had no otherwise than to seek legal advice from a former{the late:may The good Lord rest his soul in peace} law-comrade.He asked me to seek the counsel of The Law Society of Kenya {Mombasa chapter}for I was residing in that island at that time {sometimes in 2006}of whom the secretariat went forth unwincingly to write a letter on my behalf inquiring after my transcripts.Thus was the scenario between the university,my good-old-self and the L.S.K.After what seemingly looked like a tussle/tug-of-war,the university lamented and gave-in but not without first having to print afresh my 3rd and 4th year transcripts which couldn't be traced anywhere in the files record at the one Institute of African Studies.This meant I had to make travel arrangement to and from Nairobi from my meager earnings at the time. They say that when trying to solve an equation,you "collect like terms together",and furthermore,in an experiment there's usually the "control". Hence, my dear global audience you can as well do the simply arithmetic,joining-of-the-dots, reading-between-the-lines to come up with a reasonable conclusion as to the originators of my predicament.Everything of course ,by now goes without saying that they were premeditated then choreographed for anybody can deduce from my above publications that there's a clear chain of causers {crime-organizers},implementers and trackers of any attempt at the growth and development of my career/profession. There has been a spirited disconcerted effort by the powers that be to discriminate,stigmatize so as to deny me any decent source of earning a living. Nothing to speak of a fixed-income:I'm getting older by the day.I once issued my certificates and testimonials to the ministry of labor at Mombasa at the National Social Security Building and to my surprise the secretariat promised me some placement somewhere within the public service but sternly warned me that "they will give me a job on condition and only provided that it would have nothing to do with Anthropology"... i.e my Bachelor's designation. What crime Anthropology had done to the government of Kenya as to warrant such an approach remains a mystery to me to be resolved to date. Nonetheless, I still read the open secret-hand of the secretariat of the O.D.M. in my "arrested development". Indeed,10 years down the line after graduating, I feel like a persona-non-Grata,like a fugitive on the run trying to save the life they live,worse than a refugee.I've been seriously looking for ways and means to access political asylum/exile in a progressive,liberal,civilized,informed and exposed community/society ever since it downed upon my good-old-self that I'm simply living on borrowed time in Kenya.They, it's clear are going to kill/assassinate me. After all,haven't they successfully managed hijack my life and rob me of any decency,growth or development.I've lost everything except my mind which they are witch-hunting anyway through the unending psychological/mental torture.The File of my life is in their hand.I think that only divine intervention and political goodwill from one of the sovereign democratic states of the United Nation will save and bring back my life to me. Yeah, hi everybody,they're cries of "thief, thief," outside, that was a common scene in Kenya in the yester years , nowadays it's quiet rare. Non, the less, I would like to continue on the horror experiences I've been undergoing since I last came-out of college in 2002. I would like to shed more light on my private endeavors to trey and emancipate 'me good ol'self from 'arrested development of growth and development of one's career and profession, double standards and what have you. Sometimes after I graduated in 2002 from The University of Nairobi,say in 2004, after inquiring reflectively along the lines of self constructive criticism, I decided to pursue a course in Diplomacy at The Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies at The Board of Postgraduate Studies and went forth to pay the non-refundable fee of around KSsh. 3000 or thereabouts. I wish I knew, after 3 months of of waiting , my files were no where to be found let alone the issue of being short-listed or not. It's 1 of the cases of political interference of state authorities in individual citizen cases, just to try and curtail one's development. "My Heart Sunk". When my house was broken into and my certificates and testimonials disarrayed and scatter all overt the 4-walled single room. I had the scrutiny to add 1+1 to get 11. Hi virtual s, hope all's okay with you within your respective countries; that you are all treated equally under the law and none is more equal than others or simply put, is above the law. I would now like to share with you my "Break-in and Robbery" horror experience I underwent while still staying at the vicinity of The Kenya Navy Barracks near The Port of Mombasa. This was the last horror I was subjected to in that area.It was sometime during the rainy season and after my usual day's hustle for something decent commensurate with the training I underwent in the various institutions of learning, I headed home early, all my efforts having been in vain. At that time I happened to have enrolled for a Master's course in human resource management at one Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Mombasa Campus but had to take an academic leave just before the end of the 1st semester due to unavailability of funds and/or scholarships. The constituency development fund stipend of KShs. 10,000 came much later as my class of eight students was going to graduate in their second year, so it had to be refunded. The mayors kitty for educational endeavors wasn't illegible till the period coming after Christmas and new year which by then would have been past the 1st semester exams. Thus was I forced to take academic leave while pondering my next move in terms of growing and developing my education and career. On that fateful day, I got home as dusk fell while it was drizzling and to my surprise/horror was met with a ghost house scenario.My door had been broken and pushed to the floor,the room was in disarray with my suitcase gone as well as my briefcase,my coat,4-inch mattress.Those were my few major belongings,the rest was just my academic paper work which lay strewn all over the room like they were looking/searching for some documents.The coat I used to travel with to the highlands where it's cold while the brief case used to hold my academic files and note books. Dear virtuals hope you are all doing well in your respective civilized progressive countries. I here by squeeze another chance to go on implicitly and explicitly substantiate my above claims as to the nature of terror perpetuated by divide state agencies getting instructions from divided executives. First and foremost I would like to clarify to you the governmental context in which such heinous terror activities thrive with impunity. You see Kenya is governed like a mafia-police state { I'll explain that in my future editions }. After the post elections violence of 2007, the country was salvaged by the group of elites courtesy of The International Community led by The Honorable Koffi Annan. The former Sec. Gen. of The UN had or rather was forced to share the electoral spoils between the winner and the dissatisfied complainant whose hooligans were causing mayhem demanding justice of their rights on behalf of the p.m. regarding the alleged stolen elections. Thus a coalition government was formed pitting The Party of National Unity { P.N.U. } against The Orange Democratic Movement, { O.D.M }. This was a move meant to appease the unquenchable thirst the O.D.M chief to occupy state house, cause the constitution of Kenya has no portfolio for The Office of The Prime Minister. Thus, the move was to meant to accommodate the wild emotions the "special chief of O.D.M." Thus with the coalition government framework in place was the need deemed apt to create an office of The Prime Minister so that the O.D.M. chief could have a role in the executive affairs of governing the country.It did not stop there for then the tug-of-war began with this mummified relic of a party-chief of the dark ice mammoth-Jurassic ages demanded that the winning presidential P.N.U. divide all government posts right from the ministerial portfolios to all the civil service jobs along the pecking order up to the village elders, not to mention office cleaners and messengers. That is what put The Republic in the current whereby one arm of the government appears to do what the other arm ain't aware of. P.N.U. and O.D.M. have always been at logger heads ever since with each party claiming executive authority on matters / issues national and international. I would like to remind the global audience that the p.m.'s approach to government is quiet fallacious cause he goes with the tribal-ethnic-cultural mentality syndrome of the " it's our time to eat " in-fame. For example he tortured and caused great trauma even amongst his own tribal-ethnic backyard when his extremist adherents went around / about one Nyatike Constituency torching/setting on fire grass-thatched mud/dung-walled round and square huts of the constituents whose crime was to exercise their hard-earned democratic freedoms / rights of voting along ideologies, manifestos and policies oriented issues rather than basing votes on personalities and personality-cults. The constituents of Nyatike became Internally Displaced Persons to date and some of them are now refugees in neighboring Uganda to date just like the other I.D.P.'s in/and outside the country. I would like to mention as well that the aforementioned Sherman-witchdoctor who doubles as one of the p.m.'s medium/oracle consultants had the courtesy to introduce to me one of the p.m.'s body guards which goes on to implicate the person of this "special chief of O.D.M.". The proud Sherman-witch doctor went further-on to profess to me his powers and influence over the psychology and mentality of the very many leaders he claimed consulted him besides the p.m., being reason why he could easily afford to drive a fuel guzzler, his Mercedes Benz. The powerful Sherman-witchdoctor showed me his passport which verified the claims that he wield so much power he's had to be referred/hired abroad in German for his superstitious services. Ironically , I would like to mention as well that the Mombasa municipal officer assigned to deport me to migori had the pleasure to introduce me to his brother working with The Kenya Navy at the barracks where I was mugged twice and robed of phones so as to render me incommunicado.The Marine brother didn't hesitate to gesture/signal me by coercion inflating his body and muscles whenever around me before bidding us farewell at a bus station before we departed insinuating that they were the presumed perpetrators of those atrocities acted upon me within The Navy jurisdiction. It still didn't escape my notice that the p.m. is a major share-holder of the grain bulk handling company I was working for when these muggings took place. I now nursing my right arm which is developing a limp-numb disposition after the accident I got while escorting the municipal council officer assigned to deport me to the p.m.'s stronghold home turf of migori and the conspiratorial power that be wont let me access my medical examination report which the unethical nurse in charge claims to have torn to pieces which in turn makes me gather that there is an eminent plan to "doctor" the report while they smoothly buy time.
